Training Log Week 4/12-4/18

4/12: swim/run (Work 12 hour night shift)
1500 yard swim in about 31 minutes
3.625 mile walk/run in 42 minutes (including warm up/cool down)--0.475 mile short of my goal of at least 4 miles :( ITB + right heel blister = early stop

Details: SWIM:
100 breast warm up
400 free (I finally feel "warmed up" after about 350-400 yards)
100 kicks
100 pulls
700 free
100 breast

Felt pretty good, counted strokes, worked on keeping head low, breathing,and long reach

RUN: (ha! can't really call it that)8 laps = 1 mile
4 laps fast walk
6 laps run (knee felt good) took turns slow
stretch
4 laps run--started having pain
4 laps walk
2 laps run
6 laps walk
2 laps run
1 lap walk

ITBS is SOOOOOOO frustrating!!@#$#@%#

4/13: bike/ST (Work 12 hour night shift)
30 min Cardio Coach V. 4 on bike trainer (Whoa! Great workout!)
12 min LB fat blast kettlebells

4/14: easy bike (work 12 hour night shift)
20 minutes spin


4/15: off/rest...aahh...


4/16: Computrainer ride with tri coach
10 mile computrainer ride, 40 min with warm up/cool down (actual ride 33 min)+
20.5 miles around Utah Lake--fabulous ride!! Lots of rolling hills. I felt great!
I burned over 1000 calories today :)

4/17: swim/walk

Swim: 1500 yards
Track: 1 mile moderate walk

Details:
SWIM: 30 laps x 50 yards
100 breast
100 free
100 kicks with fins
100 free with fins
100 pulls
400 free
60 sec RI
500 free
100 cool down breast/float :)

My ITB has been bothering me a lot lately and I didn't even want to take a chance with running. Light 1 mile walk...
